A Century of Family History

Camp Avalon has been in our family for nearly 100 years, and every cabin carries a piece of that legacy. We’re honored to now share it with guests who value tradition, nature, and the timeless charm of a true New Hampshire lake vacation.

Jessie Gilbert, known fondly as 'Aunt Jess' (pictured left), founded Camp Avalon as a place for young girls to learn self-reliance, outdoor pursuits, and grow into confident young women.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to this special place and helping you create memories that last a lifetime.
