My granddaughter & I spent a week at camp Avalon. What a wonderful experience. It’s so beautiful & peaceful. The cabins are so quaint & nice & comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake & watching the water boarders , water skiing & kayaking. Just a great place to spend time in the summer
Me and my family have been going to Avalon since before I was even born (for context I’m 25 now)! Camp offers the perfect place to truly unwind with your family and enjoy the simple times. I’m so grateful for all of the happy memories of just sitting and sharing stories with my family. This spot offers a place to truly unwind and connect with each other (and nature). Once you’re there once, you’ll look forward to going again year after year after year!!!
My Family has been renting at Camp Avalon for over 30 years. We started renting just one week and then we fell in love with it. We rented Avalon for 4 consecutive weeks for the last 28years. My 4 children grew up and spent most of their summer at Avalon. The cabins have a rustic charm but feel so much like home. There is so much space for everyone to be comfortable. Sitting by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows were a favorite nighttime ritual. Our children never outgrew wanting to go to Avalon. Avalon is so special to our family that when we were at the height of Covid our daughter had to postpone her big wedding but she wanted to still get married on April 17th so the Wiggin’s and Vadsets let us have her ceremony on the grounds of Avalon. There could only be 10 of us but it was such a special place and so dear to our hearts and it was lovely. It has a perfect location at the end of the road which allows privacy. There are 2 docks and 2 sandy beaches. You can spot bald eagles soaring above and hear the loons calling by night. The cottages have all the amenities you need. There is even WiFi. We would encourage everyone to treat themselves and their families to this amazing place. You’ll have memories that will last a lifetime.
Camp Avalon is the escape into nature that everyone needs to reset. Our family has been coming here every summer for over a decade! It’s great for families or adult friends to enjoy. It’s rustic, yet charming and cozy. They have wifi and a tv, yet the lake calls for you to unplug. Bring a book for a shady read in the hammock. Enjoy the warm lake for a swim, paddle board or canoe ride. Fish off the dock, or watch the kids play in the sand by the creek. Enjoy the outdoor shower before sitting by the fire. Camp Avalon is one of those places where you just take a deep breath when you arrive and enjoy the peace and good vibes. The owners are responsive and you can tell really care for the property. Our family loves it here - wish we could stay for the whole summer!
in June 2024 my Gramma and I spent a week relaxing and recharging at Camp Avalon and I’ve been dreaming of it ever since! this picturesque oasis is the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos of life and reconnect with nature. whether you like swimming, paddling or just kicking back and reading in the hammock, Camp Avalon is the perfect spot. with 3 different cabins it’s the perfect place to get the whole family together but still have your own personal space, we stayed in “lakeside” cabin and the views over looking the lake from the front porch were so serene. I can’t wait to go back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have been coming to this lake for years — as a couple, with large groups of friends, and now with our kids — and every single time, it exceeds our expectations. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about this place. It is one of those rare spots that works perfectly no matter the occasion or the season. The property is always exceptionally well-maintained, which speaks volumes about the care and pride that goes into it. Everything is clean, thoughtful, and exactly as you’d hope to find it. The lake itself is crystal clear — the kind of clean that makes you feel completely at ease jumping in with your little ones — and the overall atmosphere is just so incredibly tranquil. You can genuinely leave the noise of everyday life behind the moment you arrive. This place is truly a hidden gem and the best kept secret around. We recommend it to everyone we know without hesitation. Year after year, it remains one of our favorite places on earth, and we have absolutely no plans to stop coming back.
